Don’t forget about the tiny yet incredibly capable Jeep Renegade. While this SUV has been on the back burner lately, it’s still an excellent option to consider. Plus, the 2023 Jeep Renegade has more standard features to increase its value.

Unfortunately, the 2023 Jeep Renegade looks the same. It didn’t get styling updates like the models released in Brazil this summer. However, we don’t think the Renegade exactly needs a fresh look. It’s still modern and attractive.

According to Mopar Insiders, four-wheel drive is standard across the entire lineup. This is an excellent perk, especially for those living in inclement weather areas. Plus, each Renegade is now better equipped for off-roading.

The Limited trim comes with adaptive cruise control. The Premium Group for Latitude models consists of power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an automatic dimming rear-view mirror, windshield wiper deicer, roof rails, and cornering fog lights.

With the High Altitude Package for Limited models, you get 19- by 7.5-inch Granite Crystal wheels, 235/45R19 BSW all-season tires, a black grille with a satin surround, and Gloss-Black interior accents.

The Limited Elite Group ups the ante with automatic high beams, bi-function LED projector lamps, LED cornering fog lights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and park assist.

The Trailhawk Elite Group adds power-adjustable front seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and premium leather-trimmed bucket seats.

Plus, you can upgrade to the Premium Lighting Group for bi-functional LED Projector headlamps, LED corning fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillamps.

The Jeep Renegade Trailhawk rides on 17- by 7-inch Gloss Black Diamond Cut aluminum wheels.

The official 2023 Jeep Renegade price hasn’t been released. The 2022 Jeep Renegade starts at about $24,695. But the lowest trim level was dropped for the 2023 model year, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the price went up by a few thousand bucks.

The Renegade comes with a standard 1.3-liter inline-four engine with 177 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 8.5 seconds, and the engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 2,000 lbs.

For off-roading, the Trailhawk delivers the best-in-class Trail Rated capability. It features 8.7-inches of ground clearance, up to 8.1-inches of wheel articulation, and can ford water up to 19-inches deep.

Yes, the 2023 Jeep Renegade is worth buying. It’s an extremely capable and versatile SUV for daily driving and adventuring. Despite having an average acceleration speed, it’s athletic and engaging.

The Renegade features an 8.4-inch infotainment system, built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a premium Kenwood audio system. The tech is advanced and intuitive.

Standard safety features include forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and rear-cross traffic alert.

The Renegade provides tons of value as a robust off-roading machine. It offers a comfortable ride and innovative cargo solutions. It’s a powerful rival to consider against the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona, and Subaru Crosstrek.
